ข้อสอบ New TOEIC ในส่วนของรูปกริยา
หรือ Verb Forms นั้น พบว่ารูปกริยาที่ใช้เลือกตอบจากทั้ง 4
ของกริยาเดียวกันนั้น
จำจะต้องเลือกตัวที่ถูกต้องที่สุดโดยพยายามหลีกเลี่ยงข้อบกพร่องที่อาจเกิดขึ้น
โดยเฉพาะความไม่สอดคล้องระหว่างประธานและกริยา (Subject/Verb Agreement) หรือการใช้ Tenses (กาล) ที่ไม่ถูกต้อง รวมทั้งรูปกริยาที่แสดงการกระทำ
(Active Voice) หรือ ถูกกระทำ (Passive Voice) หรือ Verbal คำที่มองคล้ายกริยาแต่ไม่ใช่กริยา
