รูปแบบของ Present Simple Tense


                            S + V1(ผันตาม S)

Note :
         1. "ผันตามประธาน" หมายความว่า
              - ประธานเอกพจน์บุรุษที่ 1 และ 2 จะใช้กริยาช่องที่่ 1 ไม่เติม -s หรือ -es
              - ประธานเอกพจน์บุรุษที่ 3 จะใช้กริยาช่องที่ 1 เติม -s หรือ -es
              - ประธานพหูพจน์ จะใช้กริยาช่องที่ 1 ไม่เติม -s หรือ -es

         2. การทำประโยค Present simple tense เป็นปฏิเสธ ใช้ "do not" หรือ "does not " แล้วกริยาหลัก(Main
             Verb) ต้องอยู่ในรูป V. Infinitive (V. ไม่ผัน)
       
         3. การทำประโยค Present simple tense เป็นประโยคคำถามประเภท Yes/No Question หรือ Wh-
             Question ให้นำ Doหรือ Does วางไว้หน้าประธาน แล้ว กริยาหลักต้องอยู่ในรูป V.Infinitive
             (V ไม่ผัน)

หลักการใช้ Present simple tense

1. ใช้ Present Simple กับ "ข้อความที่เป็นจริงเสมอ"
  Ex. " The sun rises in the east and sets in the west."
        " The earth rotates on its axis."

2. ใช้ Present Simple  กับ "เหตุการณ์หรือกิจกรรมที่เป็นปกติวิสัย สม่ำเสมอ" มักมีคำหรือกลุ่มต่อไปนี้ร่วมอยู่ด้วย
  Ex. " Always, Sometime, at times, regularly, scarcely" 


3. ใช้ Present simple กับ "สุภาษิตและคำพังเพย"
  Ex. " Still water runs deep."
        " All men are mortal."

4.ใช้ Present Simple กับ "ความจริงที่เป็นปัจจุบัน"
  Ex. " He lives in the country"
        " He does not get along with his boss."

5. ใช้ Present Simple กับประโยค "เหตุการณ์ในอนาคตอันใกล้"
  Ex. " I hope it does not rain tonight."
        " My train leaves in half an hour."

6.ใช้ Present Simple กับประโยคซึ่งมี Adverb Clause of time ที่ขึ้นต้นด้วย
     " when, before, till, as soon as, after, until " 
   Ex. " When she gets sick, she throws up."
         " As soon as  he arrives, he will clear up this problem."

7. ใช้  Present Simple กับประโยคที่ขึ้นต้นด้วย Here หรือ There
  Ex. " Here comes the bus."
        " There goes my friend."

8. ใช้ Present Simple กับประโยค If-Clause (Adverb Clause of Condition ) ในเงื่อนไขที่อาจเป็นไปได้

                   If + S + V1 (ผันตาม S) , S + (will ,shall ,can ,may ,must) + V.ไม่ผัน
  Ex. " If you are tired, you can sit down."
        " Unless there is some rain, the flowers will die."
 Note: Unless = if..not, if..on มีความหมายว่า "ถ้า...ไม่,เว้นเสียแต่ว่า"
