และไม่สามารถทำหน้าที่เป็นกริยาหลักได้ รูปของ Verbals
นั้นอาจเป็น Gerunds, Infinitives (to-verb) และ Participle ตัวอย่าง

นอกจากนั้นแล้วรูปกริยา (Verb Forms) จะมีรูปของกริยาปกติหรือ Simple Forms หรือรูปกริยาที่เป็นพื้นฐาน ซึ่งเป็นกริยาช่อง 2 หรือ Infinitive ที่ไม่มี to นำหน้า และมักจะใช้ตามหลังกริยาช่วย ดังตัวอย่างในตาราง
